Explanation about the different staff ranks
Like almost every server, Codersky has a moderation and administration team, which is in charge of making sure that everything runs smoothly. This team has certain ranks, each one with its own functions which must be respected in order to maintain order within the team and to avoid chaos. Here you have a basic explanation of each one, starting from the lowest role.
Support
This rank does not have access to moderation tools, its purpose is merely to help users with questions and, at most, if they really do not have questions to answer at the time, send priority reports directly to the moderation team. Being part of the staff, as it has been highlighted, your reports will be a priority, so be careful not to report in vain. No one will scold you for doing so and even less in your first days as staff, ask without fear to other colleagues if you have any doubt.
Junior moderator
This is a test phase that you must pass before you can become a former moderator. A junior moderator does not have direct permission to give a sanction, but can suggest it directly by using the punish command, which will send a notification that can be easily accepted by a higher staff member. This is to prevent a junior moderator from acting on their own and without supervision, while at the same time being able to process and send the punishment to be accepted as if they were giving it on their own. This allows the senior staff to advise the junior moderator and the junior moderator can "apply" the sanctions without fear of making a mistake, since they will be reviewed and commented on. It should be noted that the rest of the moderation tools can be used without limitation once you have this rank.
Moderator
Here you start to take real responsibility for your actions. This role has full access to the moderation tools. It should be noted that every action you take is recorded and we don't exactly take kindly the abuse of staff privileges. Such abuse not only leads to the direct removal of your rank but you will also be permanently or temporarily banned from the network, depending on whether the superior staff considers your negative actions serious or not, however, we will assume that you will do nothing wrong, so don't make a big deal out of it.
Senior moderator
First senior rank, getting to this point is not easy. This is merely a representative rank, which means that your permissions are no higher than those of a regular moderator, however, you will have the responsibility of supervising the moderators and the support team, with moderation itself being a secondary activity for you. However, if there are no other moderators active at the moment or the moderators are overwhelmed by the situation, the responsibility for moderating falls on you again.
Administrators
Let's admit it straight up. No matter how good you are, getting to this rank is not possible without being someone the founder trusts, which takes time and dedication. Besides, the positions for the administrative team are really limited and are usually filled. That being said, it is important to know the role of the administrators, which is to supervise the moderation and support staff and report issues to the current senior administrator, although they also have access to notify the founder directly if it is really necessary.
Senior administrator
If becoming an administrator was already complicated, this is another level. Currently only one person holds this rank and it is quite likely that this will remain so. This person is in charge of supervising the administrative staff, and is the one who will warn the founder of possible inappropriate staff behavior.
Founder
This is the highest rank and is reserved for only one person, the current and original founder of Codersky, xDec0de_. His main function is to program everything on the network, however, he also performs other functions such as: Admission and direct management of the staff, promotion and direction of the network, design of modalities and the creation of guides such as this one.
